Nusraat Faria to kick start two Tollywood projects in April

Nusraat Faria is currently in Mumbai shooting for Shyam Benegal’s Indo-Bangladeshi film ‘Bangabandhu’. The film also stars Arifin Shuvoo, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Tauquir Ahmed, Sabila Noor and others.

“It’s a biopic of Bangladesh founder Sheikh Mujibur Rehman and is being made as a part of his birth centenary celebration. The biopic depicts his journey and how he worked for the country. Arifin Shuvoo is playing him in the film, while I play Sheikh Hasina,” Nusraat said. Adding that she’ll be shooting in Mumbai till March-end, Nusraat shared, “I feel blessed to be part of such a prestigious project. After this, I will be in Kolkata to shoot for Bhoy in April. Bibaho Obhijaan 2 will also go on the floors from mid-April.”

When asked about her experience of working with a director like Shyam Benegal, the actress said it’s an amazing experience. “Shyam sir is so down to earth and he explains every scene explicitly before the final take. It has been a learning experience for me,” said Nusraat
