Pawan Kalyan to play cop in untitled film directed by Saagar K Chandra

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s next film has been announced on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. The film which hasn’t be titled yet will mark the maiden collaboration of Pawan Kalyan and director Saagar K Chandra of Appatlo Okadundevadu fame. Reports also suggest that both director and actor were busy with their individual projects, and will now focus on this assignment.

Director Saagar K Chandra took to Twitter and wrote, ”Your most Beloved, Stylish & Highly volatile Super Cop is back in our Next! @SitharaEnts Production No 12 ft. the one & only POWER STAR @pawankalyan garu!”

This news has left the fans and followers of the actor very curious. The project, which will go on the floors as soon as the things are fine, will be jointly produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and PDV Prasad under Sithara Entertainments banner. The film is expected to be a cop drama. The film has music by SS Thaman while Prasad Murella will be the director of photography. Navin Nooli is in charge of editing the flick. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon. This will be Pawan Kalyan’s third movie where he will be playing the role of a cop. Before this film, he has worked as a police officer in Gabbar Singh and Sardar Gabbar Singh.

On the work front, Pawan Kalyan will be seen as the lead actor in the highly anticipated film called Vakeel Saab. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film also Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla and Prakash Raj in crucial roles. Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor are producing the film under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
