Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s son Gautam Ghattamaneni turned 14 on Monday and along with special wishes on social media, the celebrity couple arranged a cake-cutting session for the birthday boy with family and a couple of close friends in attendance. The customised cake had captions like ‘Coolest Brother’ and ‘Best Son Ever’ decorated on it. Sharing a series of photos from the private celebration, Namrata wrote on her Instagram handle “Lockdown birthday!! Private celebrations😍😍 with his few but best friends and family♥️♥️♥️ Happy birthday my sweet son😘 Many blessings always🤗🤗🤗”
While elder son Gautam seems to be a calm-going lad, the younger Sitara is an energetic girl who keeps herself busy in all sorts of activities. Besides shaking the leg to her dad’s songs and grooving to her favourite songs, the cute munchkin runs a YouTube channel along with director Vamsi Paidipally’s daughter. Both Sitara and Gautam have verified Instagram accounts where they share fun moments with friends, throwback pics with parents, playful times with pet dogs and a few glimpses from their foreign vacations.
During one of his old interviews, Mahesh Babu revealed that Gautam and Sitara are being brought up like normal children in regular families. Opening up about his kids’ reaction to the surrounding stardom, the 45-year-old actor said that though they are aware of his reputation as an actor, they are extremely grounded and treated like every other kid. He admitted that Namrata has set a few rules in place to safeguard them.
On the work front, Mahesh will begin his next film ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ once the on-going situation gets back to normalcy. Directed by ‘Geetha Govindam’ fame Parasuram with Keerthy Suresh playing the leading lady, the pre-look poster of the commercial entertainer released to a roaring response from netizens.
