In what can be termed as great news to Prabhas fans, the makers of ‘Baahubali’ franchise have decided to re-release both the instalments in the movie theaters. While ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ will start its screening from November 6th, the sequel ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ will hit the ticket counters on 14th. Taking to his social handle, the presenter of the Hindi dubbed version of the warfare saga, Karan Johar announced the news by posting “The magic is set to unravel again! #BaahubaliTheBeginning and #Baahubali2 – The Conclusion, re-releasing soon.”
As the Bollywood filmmaker has announced the news, only the Hindi versions of the film will be releasing in the theaters. According to the recently announced Unlock 6.0 guidelines, single screens and multiplexes in the country can operate with 50 per cent occupancy by following the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) issued by the Government of India.
Starring an all-mighty star cast of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah, ‘Baahubali’ struck the right chord with both pan-Indian and global viewers’ owing to its engaging narration, breathtaking battlefield sequences, mind-blogging special effects and the cliff-hanger climax when Amarendra Baahubali (played by Prabhas) gets killed by his confidante Kattapa (Sathyaraj).
Recently, Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu termed the Rajamouli directorial as his favourite Indian film. The 65-year-old said during an interview “Personally, I like Baahubali and every time it airs on the television, I tell my wife to not change the channel. Films like Dangal and Hindi Medium are also famous among the Taiwanese audience.”
