Prakash Raj pens a heartfelt message as he remembers Gauri Lankesh

Actor Prakash Raj, on Saturday took to his social media handle to pay tribute to his good friend Gauri Lankesh, on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. The actor who shared a special bond with Gauri, shared a throwback photo with Gauri and Kavitha Lankesh. Prakash shared the photo and captioned it as, “#TeachersDay .. thank you to all my teachers who chiseled me and a special thanks to you my dear Gauri ..for inspiring courage to many. The cowards took you this day three years back .. but your fearless spirit stays with us. Miss you dear #NaanuGauri #justasking (sic).”

Gauri was shot by assailants three years ago on the same day outside her house. While several protests and campaigns have been launched in the past demanding that the perpetrators be brought to justice, the case has not had a breakthrough.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor announced on his social media account that he was returning to work. He posted a few stills from the location, among which two pictures had him having a conversation with director Prashanth Neel. Fans of KGF film and Yash were more than happy to see the versatile artiste being part of KGF: Chapter 2. An excited Prakash Raj tweeted, “Start Camera..Action… BACK TO WORK..” The actor was earlier seen spending quality time with his family at their farm house, where he spent most of his time enjoying nature.
