The trio is shooting for Sameer Joshi’s bilingual film titled ‘Choomantar’, which went on floors recently in the capital of England. We also hear that Rishi Saxena has joined the team today and will begin his shoot soon.
Suvrat, who has shot for projects in London before, admits that the filming experience is different this time. He says, “Given the current scenario, all of us are being cautious while shooting our scenes. The safety guidelines are like those in India. We are sanitising the shooting areas, wearing masks and maintaining distance from one another, unless a scene requires us to be close.”
The actor adds that the artistes who have travelled from India have been given a special visa under the travel bubble. “We are moving together as a group and are only allowed to go from the hotel to the film’s set and back,” he says.
Enjoying her maiden trip to the UK, Rinku says, “The entire journey of flying from Mumbai to London was exciting as well as tiring. But it was good to see strict safety measures being taken at both the airports. Also, I’m thrilled to shoot at a foreign location for the first time.” Interestingly, both Hindi and Marathi versions of the film are being shot simultaneously.
