A week ago, actor-turned-director Prithviraj took to social media to inform that he was tested positive for COVID-19, though he was asymptomatic. On Tuesday evening, he surprised his fans and other movie buffs by announcing that he was tested negative when he underwent antigen test. But he will still be isolating himself for one more week and thanked everyone who enquired about his wellbeing. He tweeted, “Tested negative on the Antigen test today. Will still be continuing to isolate for one more week to be doubly sure. Once again, thanks to everyone who reached out and expressed care and concern.”
The Ayyappanum Koshiyum star had also attached a medical certificate along with the tweet from the hospital where he underwent the antigen test. The actor was tested positive while shooting for th film Jana Gana Mana. The movie’s director Dijo Jose Antony was also tested positive, after which the shooting of the project was temporarily put on hold. Prithviraj, who was stuck at Jordan a few months ago during the lockdown, had come back to Kochi and was in quarantine for a couple of weeks. He was shooting for director Blessy’s dream project, Aadu Jeevitham.
