Radhe Shyam Pre-Teaser: Teaser of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde as star-crossed lovers to be out on Valentine's Day

Radha Krishna Kumar is ready to give fans a glimpse into the beautiful world he built for his Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam.

Shot on a massive budget, the film that sees music by Justin Prabhakaran, who previously composed soulful music for Dear Comrade, is likely to hit screens in September. However, the filmmakers are ready to share a sneak-peek of the period love story much before that, on Valentine’s Day to be exact.

Sharing a pre-teaser of the teaser, the film’s team declares that we have met the man, while showing glimpses of Prabhas from Baahubali and Saaho, and states that it’s time we know his heart. In the latter part of the teaser, Prabhas can be seen dressed in a gorgeous red coat, with a huge smile on his face, walking through the snow, clearly in love. This glimpse is enough to keep fans sated till the teaser of the film comes out on February 14, if the comments under the video are anything to go by.

Prabhas will play the role of Vikramaditya in the film while Pooja Hegde plays the role of Prerna. Both the lead actors’ looks from the film were previously released, seeing them dressed in retro wear and were received well by fans. Radhe Shyam will also see Prabhas’ uncle Krishnam Raju in a key role and will star actors like Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Bollywood actress Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur and more.

The film’s principal photography commenced in October 2018 and has since been extensively shot in Hyderabad, Italy and Georgia. Filming was halted during the pandemic right before the lockdown, with the team returning back to India and it was resumed in Italy in October, 2020. Final schedule of the film took place at the Falaknuma Place in Hyderabad in December and the film is currently in post-production.

As this will be Prabhas’ next film after Baahubali and Saaho, especially one that will see him in a love story after a long time, fans can’t wait to see more of the film. Pooja Hegde last impressed fans in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, so fans can’t wait to see more of her either. The former has also given his nod to a film with director Nag Ashwin, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan after this, apart from Adipurush with Om Raut and Saif Ali Khan and Salaar with Prashanth Neel and Shruti Haasan.
