Actress Raiza Wilson spoke to us recently on her upcoming film with director Caarthick Raju titled ‘The Chase’, which was shot during the lockdown. While she was happy to take up work after months of sitting idle at home, Raiza says that she did enjoy her lockdown period.
Ask her what kept her busy and she says, “I was not active on social media for a long time, and used to update/post only when it was related to work. So, I decided I should be present online. Apart from that, I worked on my body. We weren’t able to dine out and all that, no? So, I avoided junk food completely. I even turned vegetarian. I also played a lot of squash, and worked out a lot. So, yes, it has been good.”
However, things were different when she was shooting for The Chase. “The entire crew did a COVID-19 test before we went for the shoot. So, I was bravely walking in the forest where we shot. Even in my wildest dreams, I didn’t know I would do a movie. And for that, I am thankful.” The Chase also stars Anasuya Bharadwaj, Harish Uthaman, Kaali Venkat, and Bala Saravanan. The film was shot in Sirumalai, near Dindigul, in a span of 18 days.
