Rajasekhar recovers from Covid-19; discharged from hospital

After battling coronavirus for three weeks, Rajasekhar has finally recovered and was discharged from the hospital on Monday. To all his fans who have been worried about his health, the news came as a big relief. The actor had himself confirmed that he had tested positive for Covid-19 along with his wife Jeevitha Rajasekhar and daughters Shivani and Shivatmika. While the daughters recovered soon enough, both the actor and his wife had to be admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for proper treatment.

On October 17, the actor took to Twitter and wrote, “The news is true that Jeevitha, Kids and I have tested positive for corona and are currently being treated in the hospital. Both the kids are completely out of it, Jeevitha and I are feeling much better and will be back home soon! Thank you !”(sic). As soon as the news broke, rumours started doing the rounds about his health. That is when his daughter Shivatmika cleared the air and since then the hospital has been giving regular updates so fans of the actor are not misled.

As the actor was set to go home, his wife thanked the doctors and the medical staff who helped her family during such a difficult time. Throughout his recovery, his ardent fans and colleagues from the industry including Megastar Chiranjeevi wished and prayed for his health and well-being.

On the professional front, the actor will soon be seen in Arjuna where he plays a double role as a politician. Touted to be a social drama, the film is directed by Kanmani. According to the makers, the film is based on real-life events and the audience will relate to it with regard to the present political scenario. It was also revealed that the actor will be playing the father and the son, both. Though the film was set to release in March, the lockdown played spoilsport and the release was postponed till the reopening of theatres.
