The extended lockdown has proven to be an opportunity for all of us to introspect about our life choices and maintaining the perfect work-life balance.
Donning the first-of-its-kind cover of Filmfare’s first digital-only issue, with utmost elegance and panache, the versatile actor Rajkummar Rao, is one such individual who has spent a considerable amount of time on self-observation stumbling upon some important lessons of his life.
When asked about how this tough period has changed him as a person, Rajkummar said, “I’m not going to take things for granted anymore. In the last few days, I have realised how amazing it is to spend time with your loved ones. I am regularly video calling my brothers and sisters and we are reminiscing our childhood memories. All this while, I was occupied with work. Getting nostalgic and sharing memories is beautiful. At the end, you need to live for your loved ones. Nothing matters more than them. This race that we’re all in. I don’t know why we’re running so hard. Eventually, nothing will matter.”
On the work front, Rajkummar has his kitty full with movies like Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Roohi Afzana’, Anurag Basu’s ‘Ludo’ and Hansal Mehta’s ‘Chhalaang’ among others.
