Ranveer Singh marks 10 years in Bollywood by returning to 'chamber of dreams'; calls theatre experience 'marvellous'

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh clocked a decade in the film industry today and thought of no better way to celebrate than by returning to the ‘chamber of dreams’ – the theatre.

Taking to his social media handle, the star shared a photo of himself in a theatre hall with outstretched arms as the projector’s light doubled up as the perfect backdrop. “To commemorate my 10-year milestone in the movies….it was only fitting that I return to the sacred chamber of dreams,” Ranveer captioned the photo.

Sharing about his theatre experience, he said, “it was marvellous.”

Ranveer made his big Bollywood debut with ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ opposite Anushka Sharma on this day, 10 years ago.

On clocking the milestone, the star went down memory lane as he reminisces about his struggle, prized memories and his journey so far. Besides sharing his ambitions and dreams, Ranveer also went on to add that he wants to be remembered as a thorough entertainer and a versatile actor, whose body of work constitutes some of the best cinema of our country.

Ranveer’s return to the theatre comes amidst speculation that his next film – director Kabir Khan’s ’83’, will now hit theatres in the first quarter of 2021. The film that will see the actor take on the role of cricketer Kapil Dev, was pushed back several times owing to the COVID-19 crisis. He will also be seen making a cameo in the Akshay Kumar lead ‘Sooryavanshi’.

Apart from this, he also has commenced work on Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’.
