While her contemporaries might be making headlines for their alleged relationships, Nushrratt Bharuccha is one Bollywood actress who’s been away from it all. The single actress is happy to focus on her work for now rather than her personal life.
Ask her isn’t she looking for a special someone in her life and she is quick to add, “I feel for me the challenge is not about finding someone special, but the ‘right kind’ of someone special.” She explains, “I think it is the profession that I hail from that makes it essential for me to find a right match. It’s a profession which is very tricky to handle when it comes to personal life. The thing is that as actors we tend to travel so much. We are always on the move.”
Thus to suit her work style, Nushrratt wants someone with the right mindset. “I want someone who understands and respects my work and gets me. I don’t mind if it takes a long time to find someone, but what important is that I find the perfect one.”
Workwise, Nushrratt is happy that she is exploring a genre that she never did before. The actress will be seen in Chhori a Hindi remake of the Marathi horror film, Lapachhapi. Nushrratt plays a pregnant woman who along with her husband, moves into a new house, which seems to be haunted. Talking about experimenting with various genres and characters, the actress had told BT, “I don’t think even the audience wants to see me repeating my roles. They have enjoyed the flavour of my past films and my characters, so I am sure they will enjoy this side of me too.”
