"Rhea Chakraborty and family have not received any summons from the CBI so far," clarifies her lawyer

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been actively investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s case and recent reports suggested that the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty will be grilled by the CBI. However, Rhea’s lawyer, senior advocate Satish Manshinde clarified that the actress has not been summoned yet. “Rhea Chakraborty and family have not received any summons from CBI so far to attend . No sooner she receives it , she & fly will attend as they did before Mumbai Police and ED as law abiding citizens. No speculations are necessary,” Satish Manshinde shared in a statement.

Over the weekend, the CBI questioned Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani and according to Times Now, the investigating team along with forensic experts also visited the actor’s Bandra residence. Siddharth, Dipesh, Neeraj and a team of Mumbai Police officials had reportedly recreated the unfortunate incident of June 14.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR in Patna, alleging that the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family had cheated Sushant, kept him confined and forced him to end his life. Rhea denied all the allegations in an affidavit that she had filed in SC.
