Rhea Chakraborty says her messages with Mahesh Bhatt had ‘nothing to do’ with Sushant Singh Rajput

The mysterious death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has turned into one of the biggest controversies in Bollywood. While the CBI team continues to probe the matter, the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty who is also one of the prime suspects in the case finally opens up to a news channel for the first time ever since the demise of Sushant.

During her interview, Rhea talked about various allegations that are being put on her, including her WhatsApp chats with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt on June 8th when she had left the late actor’s house after their alleged fight. Claiming to be “upset” and “hurt” by Sushant not calling her back, the actress expressed her doubts on Sushant pushing her away because if her alleged “unwell” health. Clearing the air about her conversation with her ‘Jalebi’ director, she confirmed that the messages had “nothing to do” with Sushant Singh Rajput and her relationship.

For the uninformed, according to rhea’s earlier statements, she was suffering from depression which affected her mental health. She also opened up about having an argument on June 8 after which Rhea had left Sushant’s apartment to stay with her family. On the same day, Rhea had texted Bhatt that read, “moves on..sir..with a heavy heart and sense of relief. Our last call was a wake up call.” To this, Mahesh wrote in his reply, “Don’t look back. Make it possible what is inevitable. My love to your father. He will be a happy man.” Rhea further replied, “Have found some courage sir, and what you said about my dad that day on the phone pushed me to be strong for him!”

Meanwhile, in the same round of interview, Rhea has also categorically denied charges of destroying 8 hard drives at Sushant’s home as “baseless” and stated that she has never done anything to “gain control” over Sushant’s life. She also questioned the claimed friendship between Sandip Ssingh and Sushant Singh Rajput and said she don’t know him.
