Riddhi Sen who is playing a key role in Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s next ‘Anusandhan’ is super excited to be a part of the film. Earlier this month Kamaleswar and his team wrapped the London schedule amid the new normal taking all the precautionary measures. The young actor says they had a perfect atmosphere of shooting. The new protocols – wearing masks, sanitisation on the go, maintaining social distancing – were effortlessly maintained in the team.
The National Award-winning actor also attributed the seamless work to Kamaleswar and the crew members. “My deepest respect to the director for his vision, power of storytelling and bravery, without which things would not have been so easy for us. Lastly, I must also admit that I am a proud part of the Bengali film industry. The industry nurtures a crew who can achieve the impossible. It was stunning to see their indomitable energy and hard work, that too in a time of unprecedented situation like a pandemic. They adapted to the protocol almost overnight. We had a very tight schedule and their teamwork was superb. I am so proud that the entire team made this possible flawlessly and most importantly ‘safely’,” Riddhi shared with ETimes in an exclusive chat.
The London schedule had actors like Rudranil Ghosh, Churni Ganguly, Joydip Mukherjee, Priyanka Sarkar, Saswata Chatterjee and Priyanka Mondal, apart from Riddhi. ‘Anusandhan’, the psychological thriller, is an adaptation of a play directed by Kamaleswar himself.
