Saif Ali Khan plans to cancel his autobiography; reveals people will abuse him for his honesty

Actor Saif Ali Khan, who is currently shooting for his next film ‘Bhoot Police’ in Dharamshala, has said that he is thinking to back out of his book deal. He said that he is having second thoughts about his autobiography.

Saif appeared on his co-star Jacqueline Fernandez and Amanda Cerny’s new podcast and revealed why he is considering backing out. In August 2020, Saif had announced about his autobiography and even said that he is quite excited to write his book.

But in Jacqueline’s interview, Saif said that he is not prepared for the abuse that he will receive for being honest with his story. He even said that he has not even told his publishers yet. Saif further said that there is a section of the audience that is so negative in India that he doesn’t want to share his life and talk about things. He also added that he might do it or he might back out.

Earlier, while speaking to BT, Saif had spoken about his autobiography. His book will reveal things about his family, home, career in the movies, success, failures, and his influences and inspirations. His book was supposed to be published next year. He had said, “So many things have changed and will be lost with time if we don’t record them. It would be nice to look back; to remember and to record. It has been funny and moving, and I must say, this is quite a selfish endeavour. I do hope others enjoy the book, too, of course!”

Meanwhile, Saif is shooting for ‘Bhoot Police’ amid the new normal. The film also stars Jacqueline, Arjun Kapoor and Yami Gautam.
