Recently, pan-Indian superstar Prabhas has confirmed his upcoming collaboration with KGF director Prashanth Neel and the project has been titled as Salaar. According to reports, the pooja ceremony of the film will take place on January 15 in Hyderabad and popular personalities from Telugu and Kannada cinema are expected to grace the occasion. While an official confirmation is yet to be made by the production house, the regular shoot will reportedly kick-off later this month at a private studio in the city.

Touted to be a high-octane action saga, the first look poster of Salaar was unveiled to a roaring response from netizens and it featured the Baahubali actor sporting a moustache and placing his left hand on an assault rifle. To be helmed as a pan-Indian project in several languages, the film will feature a popular actor as the antagonist and speculations are rife that handsome hunk John Abraham is in talks for the same.

At present, Prashanth Neel is working on the final schedule of KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj and Raveena Tandon in key roles. The teaser of this period actioner recently released to a roaring response from the netizens.

Coming to Prabhas, he is occupied with the final schedule of ‘Radhe Shyam’. Starring Pooja Hegde as the leading lady, the romantic drama is a heart-wrenching love story set against the backdrop of Paris in the 1920s. Besides these two projects, he also has ‘Adipurush’ and Nag Ashwin’s untitled film in the pipeline.
