Sampath Nandi set to resume shoot for Gopichand and Tamannaah starrer Seetimaarr?

As film shooting resumed in Tollywood in Unlock 4, makers have been trying to keep the minimal crew on sets while following Covid-19 guidelines for the safety and well-being of everyone. Recently, director Sampath Nandi who will be helming the Gopichand and Tamannaah starrer Seetimaarr announced that the makers are planning to resume shoot in the new normal. The crew has begun a recce for locations where the shooting will be carried out. The director took to Twitter to make the announcement along with a few pictures with his team. He wrote, “#Seetimaarrrrr. On location recce with my producer #ChhitturiSrinivasaa garu and DOP @soundar16 for #Seetimaarr. Can’t wait to hit the floors.”(sic)

The pictures are taken against the backdrop of rural India with fields, small alleys and huts made of mud. Earlier, it has been revealed that the film is going to be a sports drama based on Kabaddi and both Tamannaah and Gopichand will essay the role of Kabaddi coaches. Digangana Suryavanshi and Bhumika Chawla are also set to play key roles in the much-anticipated film.

The director also revealed how the entire team is working hard to plan the shoot for the film amid Covid-19. He took to micro-blogging site and wrote, “As you know, Seetimaarr is a sports film which requires many actors and other trained professionals in the shoot beside a huge crew. So Gopichand garu, the producers and myself have been working on a feasible shooting schedule with the safety of our cast and crew being our top priority. We will update you very soon.” (sic)

Sampath Nandi has also completed the script of Odela Railway Station which stars Hebah Patel in the lead role. The movie is said to be a crime thriller and is currently being shot in Odela, a town in Telangana.
