It is well known that Shah Rukh Khan’s next film will be directed by Atlee Kumar. The young director is all for his Bollywood debut after a successful debut in Tamil with ‘Raja Rani’ in 2013 and three back to back superhit with ‘Theri’, ‘Mersal’ and ‘Bigil’, all three starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead. Atlee’s Hindi film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is titled ‘Sanki’.
The latest buzz about the film is that will have Shah Rukh Khan in dual roles, and the actor might be playing an investigating police officer and a criminal on the run. It is to be noted that Atlee’s ‘Mersal’ had Vijay playing triple roles and ‘Bigil’ had dual roles. So looks like the young director is all set for another multiple role for his protagonist.
The film is likely to go on floors in 2021 after Shah Rukh finishes his previous commitments, which include films directed by Rajkumar Hirani and Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. This will be the fourth time Deepika and SRK that are acting together, after Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year.
