Siddhant Chaturvedi opens up about working with Deepika Padukone in Shakun Batra’s next, says he is living out of his dream

After gaining accolades for his performance in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’, Siddhant Chaturvedi is all set for his next where he will be sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday.

Talking about his upcoming Shakun Batra directorial, Siddhant told Mumbai Mirror that the scale is quite big and the filmmaker is trying to push the boundaries of Indian cinema. Talking about what it’s like to work with Deepika, Siddhant said that he is amazed at the way she submits herself completely and makes the character believable. According to the actor, he is living out my dream in every possible way.

The film also stars Ananya Panday in a key role. This will be Ananya’s fourth film after ‘Student Of The Year 2’, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ and ‘Khaali Peeli’.

After wrapping up this film, Siddhant will be moving on to ‘Phone Bhoot’ with Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khatter. Talking about the film, Siddhant revealed that it is a hilarious script and they had a blast during the readings. He also added that there’s going to be some solid jugalbandi between the three of them. According to him, they want it to be the next pop culture.

Deepika, on the other hand, has films like, Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ co-starring Ranveer Singh and Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in her kitty.
