Sonu Sood has been hitting headlines for his selfless work through the pandemic. From extending financial support to helping the migrants reach their homes and arranging for jobs for those in need – the actor has emerged as a superhero for many.
To honour his philanthropic gestures, the people of Dubba Tanda village in Andhra Pradesh’s Siddipet district have built a temple dedicated to Sonu Sood. Reacting to it, the actor shared, “This is an extremely overwhelming moment. But at the same time I don’t deserve this. I’m just a common man who helped his brothers & sisters.” All those reaching out to Sonu Sood on social media have received a response from the actor.
Sonu Sood is reportedly planning to share his thoughts and experiences of 2020 in a book titled ‘I Am No Messiah’. The book will give a first person account of Sonu Sood’s emotional and often challenging journey which he undertook to help those in need.
