Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan’s latest release “Krack” opened to unanimously positive reviews from both the critics and moviegoers. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the cop-thriller released on January 9th packed a punch in the theaters owing to its gripping narration, high-octane action sequences, Mass Maharaja’s impeccable energy, Shruti Haasan’s glamour and the terrific performance of Samuthirakani as Katari Krishna. In just five days, the film grossed over Rs 30 crore at the box-office despite the 50% occupancy and proved to be the Sankranthi winner.
If the on-going speculations in T-Town are anything to go by, Sonu Sood is planning to remake ‘Krack’ in Hindi and reprise the titular role in the actioner. While there is no official confirmation on this news, grapevine suggests that the 47-year-old actor is reportedly in talks with producer Tagore Madhu to bag the remake rights. Besides starring alongside Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal in Koratala Siva’s ‘Acharya’, Sonu has played a pivotal role in the recently released ‘Alludu Adhurs’.
Recently, Sonu Sood announced that from now on, he will only do positive, author-backed roles. Speaking to Spotboye, he said “Lots of changes have happened in my life in the last one year and all positive. As far as my career as an actor is concerned, no more villain’s roles. I will only be doing positive roles now and only author-backed roles. I’m being offered many good roles. I need to work out the time frame to do at least a couple of films a year.”
During the lockdown, the pan-Indian actor made the headlines for his unmatched humanitarian deeds to the unprivileged ones.
