'Superman' star Henry Cavill says he would love to play James Bond

With the release date of Daniel Craig’s last Bond film ‘No Time To Die’ inching closer, social media has been buzzing with several names, as the talk of his successor gains momentum. Meanwhile, the latest addition to the long list is Henry Cavill, who had auditioned for the iconic character in his early 20s has expressed his desire to step in the shoes of James Bond.

In an interview with a Hollywood portal, Cavill recently said he would love to play the role of James Bond on the big screen. Furthermore, he added, while nothing is sure yet, it would be interesting to see how things develop.

‘No Time to Die’ will mark Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as the fictional spy. Apart from Cavill, many popular names like Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston and others have also come up in the list of actors, who can step in the shoes of the iconic character.

Meanwhile, Craig’s ‘No Time to Die’ which has been postponed multiple times is all slated to release in November this year. Post Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’, ‘No Time to Die’ will be one of the biggest Hollywood releases this year.
