Suseenthiran clarifies on snake controversy about Silambarasan

Recently, a video of Simbu catching a snake on the sets of ‘Eeswaran’ went viral. After this, it was reported that a Chennai-based animal activist has made a complaint to the forest department under the wildlife protection act against the actor for harassing the snake. Looks like controversies follow Simbu in whatever he does.

Now, the director of the film Suseenthiran, has clarified on the controversy. In a statement explaining about the issue, the acclaimed director has said that the Forester Clement Edison called him for inquiry regarding the issue. It is said the he had explained that it was a fake plastic snake that was used for the filming which would be converted into a live snake through computer graphics.

Simbu is playing the lead role in ‘Eeswaran’ with Niddhi Agerwal playing the female lead. The film is produced by KV Durai’s D Company in association with MDM Sharfudden, and it is set to hit big screens for Pongal 2021.

Simbu recently wowed his fans with his physical makeover and lifestyle change. He reduced 30kg by strictly adhering to strenuous workouts and nutritious diet. Interestingly, the shooting if the film has been wrapped up in around 22 days.
