Rhea Chakraborty filed an FIR at the Bandra police station on Monday night, alleging that Sushant’s sisters Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh, Delhi-based doctor Tarun Kumar and others for prescribing drugs to him without consultation. Her FIR has been transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation, who is probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise.
“The Illegal And Fabricated Prescription and administering scheduled drugs without following the law. This fact has come to light now. The Bogus Prescription was received within the Jurisdiction of Bandra Police Station. Hence the FIR. CBI will investigate if the Doctor is criminally culpable or otherwise. There’s no negligence alleged but Criminal culpability of forging a prescription. The drugs administered are prohibited psychotropic substances as contained in the NDPS Act, Which are not the subject matter of the CBI case already pending investigations. The Bandra FIR has been transferred to CBI as per the order of the Supreme Court,” Rhea’s lawyer, advocate Satish Manshinde had shared in a statement.
Hitting out at Rhea’s FIR, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh held a press conference yesterday. During the media briefing, he told ANI, “I’ve been given a complaint filed by Rhea Chakraborty in Bandra Police station. It’s effort to keep jurisdiction of Mumbai Police in this matter when SC said complaints with regard to death of Sushant Singh Rajput will be investigated by CBI. So this is clear attempt to somehow keep the Mumbai Police alive in this matter so that they can do some mischief and ensure that the family of Sushant does not get justice in this matter. If Bandra Police accepts the complaint, it’ll be a violation of the order of Supreme Court and hence a contempt of the court. If Bandra Police proceeds with it, we will take the matter to Supreme Court under contempt of court.”
