Sushant Singh Rajput case: Lawyer alleges actor admitted himself into the hospital after 'huge fight' with sisters

The Sushant Singh Rajput case has taken many different turns through the course of the past two months. According to the latest reports, the CBI is looking into the case from all angles, be it a suicide, murder, money laundering and even a drug aspect. Since the federal agency took over the case, it came to light that the actor sought treatment at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital, however, the reason for the same was unknown

According to a report on India Today, advocate Ashok Saraogi, the lawyer of SSR’s former manager Shruti Modi, alleged that the actor’s relationship with his family was not cordial. Besides alleging that the family knew of the actor’s drug consumption, he also alleged that they were the reason the actor checked himself into the hospital.

Saraogi claimed that in November 2019, Sushant’s three sisters came to meet him and they were scheduled to fly back together. However, the siblings got into a “huge fight” at the actor’s house and his three sisters checked into a hotel.

Disturbed by the fight, the actor reportedly admitted himself into Hinduja Hospital at Khar on 28th November. When in hospital, KK Singh reportedly called the staff asking to speak to his son. However, Rajput alleged that talking to his family landed him in the hospital, and that talking to his father “would deteriorate his condition further”. Hence he refused to take the call.

The CBI has till date questioned Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, personal staff Neeraj Singh, Dipesh Sawant, including 16 others in connection with the case.

The CBI team has also visited Cooper hospital twice and the Waterstone resort besides Sushant’s Bandra flat, where he was found dead on June 14.
