Sushant Singh Rajput

As Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has created a stir in the nation, the late actor’s father, K.K. Singh has recently filed an FIR against Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, Bihar under several charges, including theft, abetment of suicide, cheating, separation from the family and many more.

To this, the actress has filed a plea to the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the probe to the Mumbai Police from Bihar. As the hearing of the ‘Jalebi’ actress’s plea is taking place today, now, reportedly, Maninder Singh who is appearing on behalf of the Bihar Government claimed in his opening statement that the Patna police’s action on the probe is ‘legal’ and ‘bonafide’ after Rhea’s lawyer, Shyam Divan made technical points justifying that for a fair investigation the case needs to back to Mumbai police. To this, Singh has also alleged that the Mumbai police did not cooperate with the Bihar police in the investigation.

According to Times Now, the actress’s lawyer has also expressed that they are “okay” with the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) probe to the matter, however, they are opposed to the manner CBI has come to the picture.

Speaking about CBI inquiry, earlier Rhea Chakraborty took to social media seeking justice for the late actor and wrote to the Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah , “Respected @amitshahofficial sir ,

I’m sushant Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise .

I have complete faith in the government , however in the interest of justice , I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter . I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step.Yours sincerelyRhea Chakraborty #satyamevajayate”

Meanwhile, as the case of Sushant Singh Rajput is now being handle by the CBI officials, Rhea Chakraborty along with her brother Showik Chakraborty and father, Indrajit Chakraborty were multiple times called to The Directorate of Enforcement’s office for further investigation.
