Sushant Singh Rajput case: Narcotics Control Bureau arrests Kshitij Prasad after interrogating him for nearly 24 hours

Kshitij Prasad, a Bollywood executive producer, has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau. He was grilled by the investigating agency for nearly 24 hours. Kshitij was reportedly summoned by the NCB and according to Times Now, his house was raided too. According to the channel, Kshitij was named by two drug peddlers who claimed that they used to supply banned narcotics substances to him. Reportedly, WhatsApp chats of the executive producer stated that he was dealing with drugs and the NCB is trying to establish the peddler-supplier link here.

Speaking about Kshitij’s association to Dharma Productions, Karan Johar had clarified in his statement that he does not know Kshitij Prasad personally and that he is not his close aide. Speaking about Kshitij’s association with his production house, the filmmaker had said that the executive producer had joined, “Dharmatic Entertainment (sister concern of Dharma Productions) in November 2019 as one of the executive producers on contract basis for a project which eventually did not materialise.”

Previously the NCB had arrested Rhea Chakraborty and brother Showik in connection to the drugs-case that surfaced during Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe. Several Bollywood celebrities are also under the investigating agency’s scanner. After interrogating Rakul Preet Singh for hours on Friday, the NCB grilled Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor today.
