On Monday the Enforcement Directorate probing the money laundering angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case had summoned the ‘Raabta’ director Dinesh Vijan for interrogation. The filmmaker was snapped arriving at the ED office around the afternoon where he was grilled for almost eight long hours along with an hour of lunch break.
According to an entertainment portal, currently the agency is examining the remuneration given to the late actor for his films for which Vijan was asked to present himself before the officials.
Reportedly, Vijan and Sushant were in talks of two film collaboration, however, post ‘Raabta’ the second flick did not take off. To this, currently, the ED officers are investigating possible money transactions for the second film with the director for which he is expected to be called again.
Earlier, filmmaker Rumi Jaffery was also quizzed by the agency. Sources also add that a few more filmmakers who had worked with Sushant are likely to be interrogated soon.
Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau is seeking seized electronic gadgets by the Central Bureau of Investigation as they continue to probe the drug-link in the death case.
