Swara Bhasker says no proof of murder against Rhea Chakraborty, but evident that Sushant Singh Rajput’s family "lied"

Rhea Chakraborty has been one of the prime accused in the ongoing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. It has almost been three months but nothing concrete has been proven against the actress. Rhea has also been getting support from her Bollywood counterparts. Swara, in her column in a magazine, compared the media trial against Rhea to the Salem witch trials in the 17th century. She also added that after the initial debate around nepotism, attention was diverted to Rhea after Sushant’s father filed an FIR against her in Patna. Swara wrote that while there has been no evidence to prove that Sushant was murdered, evidence that suggests that Rajput’s family has lied is emerging.

This is not the first time that the actress has come out in support of Rhea. On August 10, Swara tweeted, “Rhea is being subjected to a bizarre & dangerous media trial fuel led by hugely problematic impulses of mob justice. I hope the Hon’ble #SupremeCourt will pay heed & take fake news spinners & conspiracy theorists like Repooplic, Poopindia & others to task. Let the law decide.”

Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is currently being probed by three investigative agencies namely, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

On Monday, Rhea filed a counter-complaint against two of Sushant’s sisters with the Mumbai Police for procuring a forged prescription for him mere days before his death.
