Taapsee Pannu romances the 'bat and ball' as she trains for ‘Shabaash Mithu’

Taapsee Pannu refuses to slow down! The actress recently wrapped the shooting ‘Rashmi Rocket’ and headed to Goa for the final schedule of ‘Looop Lapeta’. And amidst back-to-back shoot, Taapsee has also begun prep for her next film ‘Shabaash Mithu’, a biopic on Indian cricketer Mithali Raj. She has begun training to play the role of the Indian women’s cricket team captain can gave fans a glimpse of her prep.

“And romance with the bat n the ball has begun…. long way to go but a good start is half job done 🙂 This is going to be another milestone of sorts…. For our captain cool and all her #WomenInBlue #ShabaashMithu,” Taapsee had captioned a picture wherein she was snapped in action. ‘Shabaash Mithu’ will be directed by Rahul Dholakia. This film was announced on Mithali Raj’s birthday in 2019. Sharing pictures from the celebration, Taapsee had then posted, “Happy Birthday Captain. On this Birthday, I don’t know what gift I can give you but this promise that I shall give it all I have to make sure you will be proud of what you see of yourself on screen with Shabaash Mithu. PS_ I’m all prepared to learn the ‘cover drive’.”

Apart from ‘Rashmi Rocket’ and ‘Looop Lapeta’, Taapsee Pannu will also be seen in Vinil Mathew’s thriller ‘Haseen Dillruba’.
