Tadka is an upcoming bollwood romantic comedy film directed by Prakash Raj and produced by Zee Studios. The movie stars Nana Patekar, Ali Fazal, Shriya Saran and Tapsee Pannu. The story of the film is based in Goa. The film is a remake of the 2011 Malayalam blockbuster Salt N’ Pepper.
The story is based on Tukaram, an archaeologist, accidentally connects on the phone with Madhura, an RJ whose identity is a mystery except her voice. Initially they hate each other, but later in time they develop a love-hate relationship. Both of them are clueless as to how the other person looks, but they share a common interest- food and cooking. After several comical misadventures involving Tukaram, Madhura, two youngsters and fate, it all comes together at the end with some tadka.
Bombay High Court on February 4 summoned Prakash Raj in a suit filed by Essel Vision Productions Limited, the company which runs Zee Studios, the producers.
Zee Studios approached the Bombay High Court on January 25, seeking enforcement of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the company and Sameer Dixit, Jatish Verma, who are partners in a production house called Movie Makers, which is in the business of acquisition and exploitation of copyright in motion pictures.
Actor Prakash Raj owns a firm called Duet Movies, and Jatish Verma is his brother-in-law. The entire issue pertains to Intellectual Property Rights.
Verma and Dixit had approached Zee Studios to make the film and an MoU was executed on March 10, 2016 between them. According to this MoU, Rs 4,25,00,000 plus taxes was paid by Zee Studios to Dixit and Verma. This MoU was not signed by Prakash Raj, and now Zee Studios has alleged that Prakash “purposely did not execute the said MoU, so as to calculatedly defeat the rights” of Zee Studios “in collusion and connivance with” Verma and Dixit.
The movie will be releasing soon in 2020. Stay tuned to know more. Will keep you updated with the upcoming information regarding it. Would appreciate for your corporation.
