'The Gray Man' author drops hints about Dhanush's role in Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling starrer

South Superstar Dhanush had fans around the world buzzing when he landed a role in ‘The Gray Man’, co-starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling. Much about his role in the film helmed by ‘Avengers: Endgame’ director duo – the Russo brothers, was kept under wraps, until now.

Mark Greaney, who wrote the novel that the film that is based on, dropped hints about the role Dhanush will play in the upcoming big-budget Hollywood project. During an online interaction, the author guessed that Dhanush will play the role of one of the heads of the kill team that is after Court Gentry (played by Gosling).

The film revolves around a freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry. It follows Gentry (Gosling) as he is hunted across the world by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former member of Gentry’s CIA team.

While Gosling essays the role of Gentry, Evans plays the former cohort at the CIA. The film also stars Ana de Armas as the leading lady.

As of the 5th of January, the film went on floors, with the cast shooting a few scenes in Los Angeles. The team was seen taking every possible precaution against the Covid19 pandemic. Dhanush reportedly headed to the US to begin work on the film.

The actor recently wrapped up work on the Bollywood flick ‘Atrangi Re’ that will see him share the screen with Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan.
