Parno Mittra is happy after reading today’s edition of The Times of India. The reason? It reported that footfall at restaurants has increased over the weekend after the government allowed restaurants to serve serving liquor. “It’s good to see that people have adapted to the new normal. One has to overcome the fear of the virus and return to a normal life. We can only hope that the vaccine is introduced soon. But till then, life has to go on. I crossed a shopping complex in Dhakuria on Saturday and saw a good number of cars parked outside. That gave me a positive feeling, more so because Durga Puja is round the corner. I just hope that theatres open soon too,” said the actress.
Speaking about going back to work, she said, “I was a bit jittery when the government gave a go-ahead to shoots, but now, I’ve got used to it. Other than Sundays and on days when there is a complete lockdown, I am shooting for Kora Pakhi. Sanitisation, temperature checks and wearing masks have become a part of daily life now.”
