Being in front of the camera often means that you have to just forget about who you are in real life and your problems and get into the skin of the character you are playing. Something similar happened with Salman Khan during his ‘London Dreams’ shoot in 2009.
Salman, who is an ultimate dog lover, lost two of his pet dogs, MySon and MyJaan in one month that year. He was shooting for ‘London Dreams’ at that time. The actor reportedly conducted his dog’s funeral and resumed the shoot because the concert set-up was very expensive.
Recalling the incident, filmmaker Vipul Shah told ANI, “Despite losing the dogs, who were so dear to him, he continued to shoot and after pack up at 6 or 7 in the morning, he went from Karjat to Mumbai, picked up his dog, completed the funeral procedure at his farmhouse and reported back to the shoot at 4 pm and again continued shooting.”
‘London Dreams’ also starred Asin, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rannvijay Singha and Om Puri in key roles. The movie completed 11 glorious years on October 30.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman has some very interesting films in his pipeline which include, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’, ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ and ‘Kick 2’.
