Trisha reminisces the day that changed her life in 1999

Actress Trisha, who was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Petta’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj, has a huge line up film in various stages of production due to the COVID-19 situation. While the young and talent actress has been having a successful career in film for two decades, she has taken a moment today to reminisce this day (30 September) 21 years ago, which changed her life comepltely.

At the age of sixteen, Trisha won the Miss Madras title on 30 September, 1999. She had then participated in several beauty pageants contests. In fact, she made it all the way to the finals of the Miss India competition. However, Trisha did not win the title but she won the ‘Beautiful Smile’ award.

Hailing from Chennai, Trisha completed her schooling at the famous Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park. Interestingly, she aspired to become a criminal psychologist and pursed her career in BBA at Ethiraj College in Chennai.

The actress made her acting debut in an uncredited role in Jodi (1999) starring Prasanth and Simran in the lead. She made debut as a lead actress in ‘Mounam Pesiyadhe’ and went on the star in numerous films over the last two decades.
