Vadivel Balaji's relatives blame private hospital's negligence

Popular actor Vadivel Balaji, passed away earlier yesterday morning at the Government hospital in Chennai. The 42-year-old comedian is survived by his wife and a son and a daughter. He suffered a cardiac arrest fifteen days back which caused a stroke and partially paralyzed him. The comedian’s family has now blamed the negligence of a private hospital in which he was admitted as the reason for his demise.

Vadivel Balaji, who was initially admitted at a private hospital, was later moved to another popular hospital in Vadapalani after the comedian and his family weren’t happy with the treatment at the first couple of hospitals. The family have now blamed the hospital in Vadapalani’s negligence and not informing the family about his health condition truthfully for his unfortunate demise.

The comedian’s brother has revealed that they have spent over 17 lakhs for Vadivel Balaji’s treatment over the last few weeks and not being able to afford treatment is not the reason for his demise or shifting to different hospitals. He has claimed that his brother’s proper health report wasn’t given by the hospital and that is the reason for his demise.

Vadivel Balaji, known for his mimicry and imitating the body language of famous comedian Vadivelu, made his television debut with ‘Kalaka Povadhu Yaaru’, and then became popular with the game show ‘Adhu Idhu Edhu’ hosted by Sivakarthikeyan.
