Vijay Sethupathi's Bollywood film with Sriram Ragahvan gets a title

Actor Vijay Sethupathi is going places. After consolidating his position as a versatile actor in Kollywood, he has been signing up for films in Telugu, Malayalam and now in Hindi.

His recent movies have been garnering much attention and following the success of Master, his role in Telugu film Uppena as an antagonist, too, is well-received. Makkal Selvan, as he is popularly called has now signed his Bollywood movie and the film is being directed by Andhadhun fame Sriram Raghavan. Katrina Kaif plays the heroine in the movie. An exciting update on the movie is that the makers have now announced the title of the film and it is titled Merry Christmas. The film is touted to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller set in Pune and the movie will have a run time of 90 minutes, without any interval.

He is currently filming for two more Hindi movies, which include Gandhi Talks, a silent film and Mumbaikar directed by Santosh Shivan, which is the Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Maanagaram.

In Tamil, after Master, Vijay Sethupathi was seen in the anthology, Kutty Story. He has completed Laabam with Shruti Haasan and his thug Tughlaq Durbar is under post-production.
