While Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi will be making his Bollywood debut with ‘Mumbaikar’, which is the Hindi remake of hit Tamil film, ‘Maanagaram’, there have been reports that he has signed another Bollywood film with Sriram Raghavan. Now, the latest is that Vijay Sethupathi will be doing a silent film in Bollywood, which he has officially announced on his birthday today, with the film’s poster.
The ‘Master’ actor will been in silent movie in Bollywood titled ‘Gandhi Talks’ directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar. The film is said to be releasing in six languages which include Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Sharing the poster of the film, Vijay Sethupathi posted, “”At times Silence is so loud”. On the occasion of my birthday. I am announcing my new film’s poster. I am set for a new challenge and new beginning with a silent film #GANDHITALKS Need your love and blessings.” (sic)
It is to be noted that last silent film was Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Pushpaka Vimana’, which released in Hindi as ‘Pushpak’, in Tamil as ‘Pesum Padam’, ‘Pushpaka Vimanamu’ in Telugu and ‘Pushpakvimanam’ in Malayalam.
