Vijay's Bigil villain gets promotion in police department

Actor IM Vijayan, who was last seen in Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Bigil’ directed by Atlee, has represented Kerala police in football for many years having been a popular footballer of the Indian football team during his younger days. He has acted in Tamil films like Vishal’s ‘Thimiru’ and Karthi’s ‘Komban’ among a few others.

The latest news is that footballer turned actor IM Vijayan has received a promotion in Kerala police department. He has been promoted as Assistant Commandant of Kerala Police.

Sharing a few pictures, IM Vijayan posted, “I am glad to inform you all that I have been promoted as Assistant Commandant of Kerala Police.” (sic)

On the acting front, IM Vijayan will soon be seen in India’s first 4×4 mud-race movie titled ‘Muddy’, directed by debutant filmmaker, Dr. Pragabhal. The film is a comprehensive action thriller in mud racing genre. The film’s technical crew includes KGF fame Ravi Basrur for music, Ratsasan fame San Lokesh for editing ,colorist Ranga and Hollywood fame K G Ratheesh for cinematography.
