Rishabh Pant’s terrific hundred in the fourth Test against England and Virender Sehwag’s brilliant half-century in the Road Safety World Series became the major talking points among the cricket fans on Friday, It even left actor Randeep Hooda, an avid cricket lover, awestruck.
The seasoned actor tweeted some interesting lines to celebrate the joy of watching cricket. Sharing a picture of Pant, he used the proverb ‘poot ke paon palne me dekhna’ to let us know that he had already predicted the young wicket-keeper batman’s talent during his early cricket days.
He then shared another image of Virender Sehwag flexing his muscles after he smashed a well-made 50. Randeep this time used the lyrics of the popular song ‘Tu Jaane Na’ from ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ that read: ‘kaise bataye kyun tujhko chahe (How can I say how much I love you).’
While Rishabh’s knock of 101 off 118 deliveries made every cricket fan excited Sehwag turning back the clock with his 20-ball 50 was a treat for all.
