After making an impressive debut with Susienthiran’s Champion, in which he played a footballer, Vishwa is now training for his next film. The actor will be playing a mime artiste in a yet-untitled film, directed by Barathi Balakumaran (of Vizha fame).
“This film came to me through my producer, Hari Bhaskaran sir. He had watched Champion and had liked my performance in it. So, when he got this script from Bala sir, he thought I would be apt for the role. It’s a crime thriller and I am really excited about my role,” says the youngster.
Vishwa had trained to play a footballer in his debut film. “Now, I’m training to play a mime artiste in this film. Vinod from Bharathidasan University has been working with me on the nuances and we have been having the training session for about two weeks now.”
Interestingly, Vishwa was supposed to do a film with Seenu Ramasamy, in which he was playing a Sri Lankan Tamil, but it got pushed due to the pandemic. However, the actor is already looking forward to shooting this crime thriller. “We will mostly start shooting from the first or second week of March in Chennai. We are finalising the rest of the cast and crew now,” he signs off.
