We have mild symptoms but we are doing fine, says Subodh Bhave

Yesterday, Subodh Bhave revealed on his social media that he, his wife Manjiri and son Kanha have tested positive for COVID-19. Post that, they are in home quarantine and are seeking advice from doctors over the phone. “I have mild symptoms like sore throat and weakness but we are at home and doing absolutely fine,” shares the actor, adding, “Recently, after returning from Pune, where I had gone to celebrate Ganeshotsav, I developed a sore throat. That’s when I sensed that I had contracted the virus. Without wasting any time, everyone at our home immediately got tested. While Manjiri, Kanha and I tested positive for COVID-19, the reports of my younger son Malhar, his nanny and our driver came out negative.”

Unfazed by the situation, Subodh has been keeping a positive attitude, as he says, “To be honest, I was absolutely sure that my reports would come positive so I didn’t really panic. The point is that we don’t have to get scared of this. Instead, we need to put up a brave fight against the disease We are doing our regular stuff at home and taking it easy. As an immediate precautionary measure, we have made two sections in the house. In one part, we have quarantined ourselves and in another section, Malhar is staying with his caretaker.”

Subodh says that he is overwhelmed to see fans praying and wishing that the family recovers soon. He adds, “I would like to tell my fans that we are fine and constantly in touch with the doctors who are monitoring us. I request my well-wishers to avoid stepping out without a mask and a sanitiser. We need to take care of ourselves.”
