What did Rajdeep learn from Soumitra Chatterjee and Kharaj?

Actor Rajdeep Gupta is sporting a new look these days. The actor, who rose to fame playing the character of Ishaan in the serial Ogo Bodhu Sundori, was last seen on television in 2017 where he played the lead in Baksho Bodol. During the lockdown, the actor has grown stubble for Rick Basu’s film Aboho. Said the actor, “I am getting mixed reactions from my friends for the new look. I did television way back in 2017 and took a break from the small screen after that. I wanted to essay different characters to test myself as an actor. I did a workshop with Sanjay Mishra and it was an enriching experience. In the last couple of years, I have been only part of projects for OTT platform.” Rajdeep’s last film was Mon Jaane Na, where Yash and Mimi Chakraborty played the lead. “After a long time, I am part of a film. Aboho is a thriller and my character is different from what I have played in my earlier projects. I am paired opposite Paoli and this is my first project with her. I must admit she is a fantastic co-actor. Soumitra Chatterjee and Kharaj Mukherjee are also part of this film. I haven’t shared screen space with Soumitra jethu yet, but I go to the floors just to watch him acting in front of the camera. Till today, he rehearses before the final take and his energy is infectious. My shooting schedule with him is soon and I am eagerly waiting for it. One should learn comic timings from Kharajda and I feel he doesn’t act, he reacts to situations,” said Rajdeep.
