Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has once again grabbed everyone’s attention as she may have to wait for some time before she donates her plasma for COVID-19 research. According to the latest report, a senior official of King George’s Medical University has stated that she has a low hemoglobin count due to which she won’t be able to donate her plasma.
According to a report in PTI, the Head of Department of Transfusion Medicine at KGMU, Dr. Chandra has stated, “The blood sample of Kanika Kapoor was examined for the purpose of plasma donation, and it was found positive. But she has to wait for some time.”
The PTI also reported a statement from KGMU’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof M L B Bhatt, who said, “Blood sample of Kanika Kapoor was examined and almost all parameters pertaining to plasma donation were found to be appropriate. However, the hemoglobin quantity was found less than the standard. Hence, she has to wait for a few days for plasma donation.”
The ‘Baby Doll’ singer, who is currently quarantined at home after being discharged from the hospital recently slammed all the allegations made against her in a statement which she shared on social media.
Not only that but Kanika also gave a befitting response to all false reports of her missing from her home by sharing a picture of herself with her parents from her Lucknow house.
Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against the ‘Baby Doll’ singer for negligence, online reports suggest that she would be interrogated once she is done with her quarantine period at home.
