Vishal starrer ‘Chakra’, which is directed by debutant MS Anandan, is scheduled to hit the screens this Friday, on February 19. But it seems like the film is facing trouble just two days before its grand theatrical release. The High Court has ordered a stay on the release of Vishal’s ‘Chakra’, the reason being the loss faced by his last movie ‘Action’. Vishal allegedly hasn’t paid the loss incurred by the film as he had promised the producer.
The case has been registered since a long time, and the judge had earlier appointed an arbitrator to sort the issues between Vishal and the producer of ‘Action’. But the deal has not been fixed yet, and Vishal hasn’t paid money to Trident Arts Ravindran, who produced the actor’s last film ‘Action’. So the producer has once again moved to the court, and sought a stay on the release of Vishal starred ‘Chakra’. This has come as a shock for fans who were eagerly waiting to enjoy a film on big screen.
A sneak-peek of ‘Chakra’ was released by the makers yesterday and fans have huge expectations from the entertainer. The film features Vishal, Shraddha Srinatha, Regina Cassandra, Robo Shankar, and others, and is produced by Vishal under his banner Vishal Film Factory.
